TOKIO Inkarami Parkour Team Announces New Members, Addition of Three Notable Athletes, and Fourth Term Structure

(brand name: TOKIO Inkarami) has signed three parkour athletes as of April 1, 2025 (Tuesday). With this agreement, the TOKIO INKALAMI Parkour Team will now have 10 top athletes from Japan and abroad, and will aim for further growth.

Three New Athletes

The newest additions to the team are KAMEI Saira, a next generation star in the world of parkour, IMAFUKU Kohana, a world champion at just 12 years old, and Archie Aroyan, a top athlete leading the world parkour scene.

A star of the next generation who leads the Japanese women's parkour world with her gorgeous smile and solid technique, she won the first place in the annual point ranking at the "Japan Championship Women's Freestyle U-16" in 2023, and will challenge the senior division in 2024.
In the qualifying round, she was within two points of Japan's queen, Otoning Nagai, and in the finals, she finished an impressive 3rd place.

 

IMAFUKU Kohana

A future speed queen who dominates the industry with her overwhelming speed, she won the women's freestyle championship at the PARKOUR PREMIER CUP in Sapporo in 2023 and the 1st Junior World Championships for Women's Speed in 2024.
She made her mark on the world as the first junior women's speed world champion in parkour.

 

Archie Aroyan

A top athlete recognized as an icon of parkour culture, traveling the world to participate in competitions and events, in 2019 he was crowned the first freestyle champion at the IOC-supported World Urban Games.
The event was broadcast live on the "Olympic Channel" and shocked fans around the world. In 2021, the team also placed 3rd in the Red Bull Art of Motion, and in the semi-finals, they scored the highest score in the history of the event.


 

TOKIO Inkarami Parkour Team History

Since its inception in 2022, the TOKIO Inkarami Parkour Team has established itself as a leader in the Japanese parkour world. The team's "team structure" is rare in the world, and even in the individual sport of parkour, the team members share an environment where they can improve their skills while engaging in friendly competition.

At the 2024 Japan Championships, he showed his overwhelming ability by sweeping the gold, silver, and bronze medals in men's freestyle, as well as winning gold and silver in women's freestyle. Furthermore, he has steadily produced results at world competitions, winning a silver medal in men's freestyle at the 2022 World Cup, a bronze medal in women's freestyle at the 2023 World Cup, and a 4th place finish at the 2024 World Championships, pushing the Japanese parkour scene to the world stage.

New Organization for Fourth Term and Future Prospects

Under the new organization, which will start in April 2025, veteran athletes Masahito Seki and Hikari Izumi, under director Yutaro Matsukawa, will take on the dual role of training young athletes to strengthen the team and raise the level of the industry as a whole. With the addition of world-class parkour athlete Archie Aroyan, the team is also looking to promote the spread of parkour internationally.

Furthermore, Ayau Kamei and Shinwa Imafuku will participate in the "6th Japan Championship Qualifying Round" & "Next Gen Selection Qualifying Round" to be held at Hiroshima Gate Park from April 18 (Fri.) to 20 (Sun.), 2025, for the first time as members of TOKIO Incarami. TOKIO Inkarami's sports support activities

TOKIO Inkarami is not only a hair care brand, but is also actively involved in sports support activities. The snowboard club includes Ayumu Hirano, a gold medalist at the Beijing Olympics, and Shinkaba Murase, a big air champion at the 2025 World Championships. The skating club includes Miho Takagi, a gold medalist in speed skating, and Rishi Nakata, the winner of the World Junior Figure Skating Championships. In addition, we support top athletes in various sports, such as Hidetaka Sugimura, a gold medalist in boccia at the Tokyo Paralympics, and Shino Matsuda, a representative of the Paris Olympics in surfing, and contribute to the development of their respective sports.
