TOKIO Inkarami will again support the "Shimogamo Shrine Tadasunomori no Mori no Hikari Matsuri" as the title and sole sponsor this year!

~Mysterious space of light in a World Heritage forest~.

This year we will again hold an art project based on the concept of "Digitized Nature" (nature becomes art in its natural state).

In addition to the approach to the Tadasunomori forest and inside the gate of Shimogamo-jinja Shrine, this year's "Walk, Walk, Walk - Tadasunomori, Shimogamo-jinja Shrine" will be displayed along the long Izumi River that flows through the Tadasunomori forest, where anonymous and diverse portraits will continue to walk. The Tadasunomori and Shimogamo Shrine will become a space of light art that changes forever.

Shimogamo-jinja Shrine

Shimogamo-jinja Shrine - The official name is Kamomi-oya Shrine.

Surrounded by the Tadasunomori forest, which preserves the ancient appearance of the shrine, the temple grounds cover 124,000 square meters, and in 1994 the entire area was registered by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site.
