Figure Skating: Rio Nakata Wins Silver at the 93rd Japan Figure Skating Championships

At the 93rd All-Japan Figure Skating Championships, held from Thursday, December 19, 2024, to Saturday, December 22, 2024, at the Towa Yakuhin RACTAB Dome in Osaka Prefecture, Rio Nakata of TOKIO INKARAMI—at just 16 years old—scored 173.68 points in the short program without a single negative Grade of Execution (GOE) mark. He scored 90.31 points in the free skate, bringing his total to 263.99 points and earning him a well-deserved silver medal despite being a junior. We look forward to cheering him on as he aims for even greater success.

Additionally, Ami Nakai, also a member of TOKIO INKARAMI, placed 15th in the competition.
