Figure Skating: Ami Nakai and Rio Nakata Both Take 2nd Place at the 2025 Grand Prix Final!

The Figure Skating Grand Prix Final was held in Japan for the first time in eight years, taking place at the IG Arena in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, from Thursday, December 4, to Sunday, December 7.

In the women’s singles competition, Ami Nakai of TOKIO INKARAMI, making her debut, successfully landed a triple Axel (a 3½-rotation jump) and finished in second place with a total score of 220.89 points.

In addition, Rishi Nakata, also a member of TOKIO INKARAMI, finished second in the junior men’s singles with a total score of 249.70 points, setting a new personal best.

Both TOKIO Inkarami athletes made it to the podium!
